Black Watches, Lance Bass, and Disneyland Churros.
Gold. Silver. Gold AND silver. Rose gold, on yellow gold, on silver.

The past few seasons have definitely embraced the mixed metal trend. Everyone and their mother has that slightly oversized Michael Kors watch. It’s fun. It’s cute. It’s shiny. And thanks to a million Hollywood celebrities it’s still ‘trendy.’ That Michael Kors watch is a seemingly perfect way to layer bracelets on more bracelets on silver Tiffany’s bracelets from high school and be the next Ashley Tisdale. You get the point. Step aside gold and silver watches. Black is back. Edgy. Chic. A black watch goes perfectly well with that LBD, or with skinnies and a tee. Best of all, it doesn’t scream ex Disney star.
Time to live for the BLACK watch trend.
1. Movado ‘Bold Chrono’ Small Bracelet Watch – currently available at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for only $434.90 down from $650. What a steal. Sale ends on August 6 so get on that train now.

2. Zadig & Voltaire Black Skull Watch – $319. A worthwhile investment considering you can never go wrong with a skull.

3. DKNY Black Ceramic Watch with Glitz – $275. A little sparkle never hurt anyone.

4. NIXON Elite ‘The Magnacon SS’ – $1,000. A G is a small price to pay for Batman realness.

5. La Mer Onyx Bracelet Watch – $105. Perfection.

In closing, please watch this wonderful Disney -riffic, pro-equality rendition of CINDERELLA rightfully entitled CinderFella, created by and starring Todrick Hall, with a special role from ex boy band member extraordinaire Lance Bass. Please be on the lookout for my lovely friend Samuel Garfield. Hint: He’s wearing a turban. Yes, it’s everything.
